Ivan Chebotar, USA
Photographer and videographer
Ivan Chebotar's path into photography began in his teenage years, when his sister received a Nikon D3000 as a birthday gift. Although she rarely used it, Ivan quickly became fascinated by the camera, capturing everything around him — people, architecture, animals, and landscapes.
He later studied web design and development at Step IT Academy, where he also completed a photography course that strengthened his technical and artistic foundation. After graduation, Ivan joined an IT company, creating website visuals for international clients. The work was highly technical and left little room for creativity, which led him to realize that he needed a profession where artistic expression would come first. This realization pushed him to pursue photography not only as a passion but as a career.
In 2022, the crisis in Ukraine disrupted his plans and brought him to the United States. After a period of adjustment, he returned to photography with renewed determination — investing in new equipment and rebuilding his practice in a new environment.
Today, Ivan works as a photographer in the U.S., collaborating with local clients and businesses. His work focuses on portrait and product photography, exploring the subtle relationship between people, light, and space — a visual language shaped by resilience and a sincere love for storytelling.
Asylbubu Kenzhebekova, Kyrgyzstan
Family photographer and visual storyteller
Asylbubu Kenzhebekova is a family photographer from Kyrgyzstan, currently based in Chicago. Her artistic vision centers on the authenticity of emotion and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Through her lens, she captures moments that often go unnoticed — fleeting gestures of care, shared laughter, and the tender connections that define what it means to belong.
While her primary focus is family and lifestyle photography, Asylbubu also explores conceptual portraiture as a space for introspection and creative discovery. Her recent series, “The Language of Body,” reveals a deeper and more reflective dimension of her practice. In works such as “Rebirth of Self” and “Falling Into Myself,” she examines how the body becomes a vessel for emotion, expressing transformation, vulnerability, and the search for inner freedom.
Her accomplishments include a feature in Forbes magazine and video production for the international Face of Asia 2022 competition, where the contestant she collaborated with won the Grand Prix. Asylbubu views photography as a dialogue between light and feeling — a way to bridge the visible and the invisible, and to tell stories that speak to our shared humanity.
