Kateryna Doronina was born on February 13, 2001, in Pavlohrad, Ukraine. Her love for art began in early childhood. In the first grade, she won first place in a drawing contest, an achievement that inspired her to pursue her creative passions further.
A pivotal figure in Kateryna's artistic development was her friend's grandmother, a professional artist, who introduced her to the techniques of watercolor and oil painting. This mentorship had a profound impact on her artistic journey. In 2011, Kateryna participated in an art exhibition, showcasing her work at the Pavlohrad Local History Museum.
In 2018, Kateryna was accepted into the New Media Art program at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, where she graduated in 2022. During her time at the university, she honed her skills in both digital and traditional art, continuously experimenting with various techniques to expand her creative horizons.
Kateryna now resides and works in the United States. Watercolor remains her primary medium and source of inspiration. Her works in this technique embody the harmony of nature and convey a delicate emotional depth.
